Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

BillYaar ("the Service") is billing and inventory software operated by Potebaki Limited, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must give correct information (business name, phone number, email) and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your staff. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

2. What the Service does

BillYaar helps you create bills and GST invoices, track stock, customers and dues, and send bills to your customers. You are responsible for the prices, tax rates, GSTIN and other details you enter. The Service does not file GST returns or give tax, legal or accounting advice; please confirm your tax treatment with your CA.

3. Your data

Your business data (items, customers, bills) belongs to you. You can export it at any time from the app. We use it only to run the Service for you. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for anything unlawful, to send spam or misleading messages, to try to access other users' data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

5. Messages (SMS, WhatsApp, email)

Some features send messages such as one-time codes or bills. You confirm you have the right to message the customers whose numbers you add. Message delivery depends on third-party networks and providers and is not guaranteed.

6. Fees

The Service is currently free to start. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and what is included before you are charged, and you can choose not to continue. See our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and backups

We work to keep the Service running and take regular backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Please export your important records regularly.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your business and its data from Business Settings at any time; this cannot be undone. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is not paid for after a paid plan begins, and we will try to give notice first.

9. Limits of liability

To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the new date here; continuing to use the Service means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
